Warehouse Operations Clerk
The Warehouse Operations Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all shipping related documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
This position reports to Operations Supervisor or Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
- Communicates through various media with site personnel, essential information to ensure operations are meeting requirements
- Receive all drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments.
- Using a warehouse management system, systemically open / close shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
- Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork.
- Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Gather, enter into the warehouse management system, and maintain all data and records relative to shipping activities.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies.
- Assists in Material Handling duties such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
- Actively monitors trailer capacity and proactively works with spotters on trailer moves.
- Assists with other administrative duties as needed by the leadership team.
- Files all outbound paperwork so that it is easily accessible when needed.
- Maintains seal log accurately with necessary information.
- Maintains the load board with accurate information.
- May require they communicate work assignments such as appointments to receive, doors to load, items to pick, etc.

Requirements :
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience with (Manhattan) Warehouse Management System preferred
- Computer applications using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint).

Warehouse Coordinator
Pay : $21.50 per hour includes FULL Benefits Package!
Shift : Monday - Friday 7am - 3 : 30pm
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Screen all incoming vehicles, determining destination point, advising appropriate team members.
- Ensure all docks are ready for assigned trucks.
- Check in all drivers, assign dock door, and document in master tracking system.
- Liaise with logistics and customer service regarding order processing.
- Prepare transportation loads and schedule for carriers and advise appropriate team members.
- Provide customer service for solving issues as they arise.
- Monitor carrier pick up timelines / advising logistics coordinator on carriers behind schedule.
- Verify proper checking and loading signatures exist before providing carrier with BOL for signage.
- Verify carrier has printed name legible and signed BOL before releasing shipment.
- Process commercial invoices and bill of ladings for all cross border shipments.
- Apply proper seal to full trucks loads or containers.
- Store all back up documentation to Laserfiche Repository system.
- Process courier orders for required samples.
- Manage general inventory of office and warehouse supplies.
- Assist re-work area / receiving with product label generation.
- Ensures work areas are clean and appropriately maintained and presentable at all times.
- Provides backup coverage for various roles as needed.
- Performs additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum high school diploma required, but post-secondary education in a related field is highly preferred.
- Work requires a moderate amount of analysis, planning and problem solving and modest variations in daily routines.
- Demonstrated accountability for quality, accuracy and adherence to work instructions with some discretion required when exercising duties within pre-determined limits and procedures.
- Demonstrated capability to provide guidance to other staff as needed in relation to the execution of job duties and assigned projects.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established standards and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers and with external parties (e.g. carriers) in a timely and courteous manner.
- Computer proficiency and literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems (SAP preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, multitask accurately, and execute successfully.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail required.
- Strong English communication skills required, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Most work is performed in a warehouse office environment with occasional time spent in the warehouse. Occasional exposure to : fluctuating heat and cold temperatures;
b) some noise associated with forklift traffic; (c) interaction with external parties; and (c) occasional WHMIS chemicals.
- Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally with moderate level of sustained visual attention required and moderate manual dexterity.
- Work requires forklift / industrial equipment experience
- Work requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Work requires the occasional ability to bend, twist, lift, reach, push, pull and stretch.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to moderate adverse conditions or health and safety risks. PPE safety equipment and precautions is required
- Position requires a high level of sustained visual attention, high manual dexterity on a regular basis performing physical and demanding job tasks.

Warehouse
Our Warehouse Associates are an important part to distributing our products. We are seeking a warehouse person to work in a safe environment with positive people.
The Warehouse person will properly and safely stock our roofing materials in our warehouse, pull inventory for customer pick-ups, use a forklift to unload inventory from incoming delivery trucks and load our trucks for jobsite deliveries.
You will insure accurate counts of inventory as it comes in and goes out, rotate stock and properly handle any damaged materials.
Be part of a team, because we have a team-first attitude. Work Monday through Friday, and opportunity for overtime on weekdays and Saturdays during the busy season.
Qualifications :
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment.
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly each day.
- Driving a forklift in this type of setting is a plus or we will help you get certified.
- Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members.
- Be reliable, safe and a team player.

- Have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.
