The Opportunity :
Will provide a safe and secure workplace for all people on property while protecting Mattel’s assets / interests. Perform daily duties that assists warehouse production.
What Your Impact Will Be :
- Enforce Mattel Global Security Department Best Practices and adhere to US Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program recommendations
- Respond to all emergencies and take appropriate action
- Protect the Distribution Center from theft, vandalism, fire and / or unauthorized access
- Perform administrative data entry duties for inbound and outbound tractor trailers or vehicles
- Screen people entering / exiting through the employee entrance / exit areas to ensure authorized entry
- Report security / safety incidents to Shift Supervisors or the Site Supervisor to ensure proper documentation and follow-up
- Drive a Mattel fleet vehicle or golf cart throughout the Mattel distribution center and satellite warehouse location (where applicable) to deter any type of activity that would negatively impact the business
- Provide a high level of customer service to all Mattel employees, vendors, and visitors on property
- Additional responsibilities may be requested based on business needs at your location
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections to maintain safety standards
- Learn and understand distribution center policies and procedures
- Understand and perform all duties of the security officer role
What We’re Looking For :
- One or more years of experience working as a Security Officer in a corporate, warehouse, law enforcement, or military environment is preferred
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPR certification desired
- Valid Driver’s License is required while employed as a Security Officer to drive Mattel fleet vehicles and fulfill the expectation of the job
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business policies, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals including detailed incident reports writing
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, clients, customers, and the general public.

The base hourly rate for this position is $17.50
This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience

Qualifications
- Six (6) months experience as a Security Officer involving extensive public contact.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

IT Security Analyst
The IT Security Analyst protects and defends UCR School of Medicine and UCR Health's information technology systems, networks, and data through cyber defense analysis, incident response, and vulnerability assessment and management.
This involves analyzing security events and incidents, implementing security controls, configuring and managing security systems, conducting vulnerability scans and assessments, and performing various IT security-related tasks.
Identifies anomalous network activity and potential threats to network resources, tracks and documents security incidents from initial detection through final resolution, writes and publishes cyber defense techniques, guidance, and reports on incident findings to appropriate constituencies.
Works with stakeholders to resolve computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance, performs risk and vulnerability assessments of relevant technology focus areas, and makes cybersecurity recommendations to leadership based on relevant threats and vulnerabilities.
Must be proactive in identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities to maintain the security and integrity of institutional information and infrastructure.
The nature of this allows for a hybrid work schedule where the incumbent can work two days onsite in the office and remotely for the other three days of the work week, subject to periodic review and change.

THE JOB

Customer Experience Manager
Position Purpose:
Customer Experience Managers (CXMs) are members of the store leadership and management team, overseeing execution of store standards across the entire store, including customer service, department readiness, and operational process. CXMs manage all activities required to ensure a safe opening and closing process. They coach associates, address customer service escalations, and perform Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities. CXMs communicate priorities, ensure daily tasks are completed and that the store is running smoothly. At times, CXMs may be the only Manager available and will be expected to make business and associate decisions in partnership with appropriate resources and within standard operating procedures (SOPs). CXMs will provide input to the Store Manager (SM) and Assistant Store Managers (ASM) on Associate performance through the ongoing performance management and talent planning discussions. Although the CXM does not have direct reports, they will participate in the selection and hiring process as needed.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
25% Service:
- Drive customer service and associate engagement; coach Associates on proper customer service techniques and ensure team is providing the highest level of customer service.
- Resolve customer escalations within the store and through Customer Care.
- Ensure Department Supervisors and Floor Sales Associates are prepared for high-volume sales periods.
- Monitor customer flow through checkouts and take action to ensure customers are receiving fast, friendly service.

- Provide in the moment coaching based on observations and behavior.
- Partner with Assistant Store Managers (ASM's) regarding formal performance conversations and discipline.

- Give input to ASMs on associate performance and participate in talent planning for all hourly associates

- Lead store kickoff meeting and walk each department to ensure store readiness.

- Ensure associates complete all store checklist in accordance with timing expectations.

- Ensure Associates follow all safety and Hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines at all times.
- Make sure all equipment and machines are functioning properly.
- Review current and upcoming events and ads to determine if any action is required, partner with appropriate Department Supervisor or Assistant Store Manager as required.

- Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. This may include direct supervision of a shift or the coordination of multiple work groups.
