Job Description :

Binds containers with metal tape, using strapping machine, where necessary. Labels

Places stock parts on assigned shelving racks, containers or bins.

Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and inspects for all necessary documents (includes packing slip, certifications, etc.

Notifies the appropriate personnel regarding damages and / or shortages. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operates forklift truck, pallet jacks and hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.

Ideal candidates are computer literate, UPS World Ship knowledgeable, operate forklift safely, good math and reading skills, detail-oriented (extremely important), good communication (both oral and written) skills, good judgment and decision making skills. Valid CDL.
