Position Summary

- Operate a counterbalanced lift, narrow aisle lift, pallet truck, tug with jitney trailers, and DSD trucks (docking and positioning)
- Ensure operators document pre-use inspections of lifts
- Understand and apply correct trailer loading, accounting for weight distribution and securing the load with airbags and or load locks
- Setup and direct crew for pick line replenishment
- Set up the nightly pick, directing case pickers, jackpot attendants, stackers, and lift operators to their designated positions
- Ensure South transfers are loaded and shipped within time requirements
- Ensure Direct Store Delivery (DSD) trucks are docked, loaded, and positioned for departure
- Assign warehouse crew members as needed
- Ensure that all outbound loads are accurate, documented, and shipped in a timely manner
- Ensure that all inbound loads are counted accurately and the appropriate system / paperwork is documented accurately.
- Receive and verify inbound product and materials
- Ensure bond to tax paid transfers are documented accurately
- Maintain the facility in a clean and orderly fashion
- Assume responsibility for the company safety program in the absence of a supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Education / Experience :
- Previous experience in warehouse, pick line or production
- Current forklift OSHA (IVES) certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- IFS / IWS / Novacura systems
- Basic computer skills
- Case Wine, vintage dates, alcohol percentages, verities, bottle sizes, etc.
- Written and system documentations
- Pallet patterns / ties and full pallet configuration
- Safe Work Habits
- Understand and comply with ISO9001, HACCP, GMP and Standard Operating procedures, requirements and process
- Read and write English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
