Position Purpose:

The Rental Repair Supervisor is responsible for the success of assigned functions within a complex Rental Operations Facility (ROF) to ensure that it is an outstanding place to work. The Rental Repair Supervisor will be responsible for fleet readiness, customer and store owned repairs, apprentice technician training, and mobile Rental technician productivity. The Rental Repair Supervisor works with the Rental Branch Manager to develop strategies and objectives to maximizing productivity and leverage expenses for the ROF. Key Responsibilities:

Administers progressive discipline, (counseling, oral and written warnings), and employee terminations.

  • 10% Communication and Collaboration: Maintains complete and open lines of communication between the facility and corporate office to facilitate efficient facility operations.

Sr. Large Equipment Field Rental Technician

Position Purpose:

The Sr Field Rental Technician is an experienced, highly skilled mobile repair technician performing repairs on many types of rental construction equipment. Types of equipment ranging from earthmoving, aerial, landscaping, and material handling equipment. Majority of repairs will be on a jobsite or in a mobile environment. Repairs will range from general repairs and maintenance, up to more complex repairs on hydraulic, electrical and diesel engines.
This position reports directly to the Rental Repair Supervisor (RRS) supporting the overall service efforts at the Rental Operations Facility (ROF), but primarily repairing and servicing current customers with repair needs in the field. Position Purpose:

 

The Rental Delivery Driver II (RDDII) has a CDL-A license and operates a Tractor-Trailer or Straight Truck to deliver Large Equipment to DYI and Professional customers. The driver is knowledgeable in the basic operation of the equipment they deliver and provides basic operational training on the proper and appropriate use to the customer.  Additionally, the RDDII is responsible for verifying the equipment is clean and operational prior to and after each delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Remains current on local licensing and safety requirements.   • 20% - Deploy Equipment to Store Locations - Assists with the deployment of new equipment to store locations, including performing PDIs, delivering to the store, and training store associates on the operation of the equipment.   • 10% - Maintain Parts Inventory - Maintains accurate parts and fleet inventories through proper documentation and transfers in appropriate systems.

  • 60% - Operate Tractor-trailer and Straight with Truck and Load Large Rental Equip - Operate semi tractor-trailer with 53' flatbed trailer and class 7 straight truck commercial motor vehicle & retriever unit to deliver equipment to customers.
