Position Summary :
Person in this position will be responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of the facility. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
Essential Job Functions :
- Maintain the facility grounds and maintain buildings in a safe and efficient operating condition;
- Maintain an inventory of supplies, donated items and a tool control system;
- Respond to routine emergencies and make normal repairs;
- Define problems and provide assessments for anything that must be repaired or replaced;
- Respond to work orders on a daily basis;
- Participate in daily shift exchange including documenting in facility log at the end of the shift and thoroughly reviewing the log at start of the shift;
- Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mop floors. Polish and clean fixtures in rooms and bathrooms.
- Operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, shampooers and related environmental service equipment.
- Wet mop rooms, halls, etc. shampoo rugs and furniture;
- Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, doorframes, and other high areas using a ladder;
- Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials using specific bags and / or containers;
- More furniture and other heavy objects as required;
- Make supply packs for departments and put linen stacks in carts for distribution. Take supply requests and deliver them
- Deliver linens to departments according to pre-established par levels and schedules. Distribute emergency supplies as needed;
- Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation; and
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications :
Certifications / Licenses :
- Possession of a valid Class C Drivers License;
- CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test; and
- Must be able to qualify for WestCare vehicle insurance
- Ability to pass first level and NABS background clearance
- As mandated by Presidential Order all employees of WestCare Foundation, Inc. and all affiliates of WestCare Foundation, Inc.
will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective 11 / 1 / 2021. Employees that have requested a Medical or Religious Exemption, which has been approved by Human Resources will be required to test for the virus weekly
During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and / or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with.
Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience and Competencies :
- Five (5) years experience in general semi-skilled maintenance and repair work, or as a building maintenance or construction trades worker;
- Experience working with individuals and groups in a confined setting is preferred;
- Must possess knowledge of common methods, practices and materials used in maintenance and repair work of buildings and building facilities;
- Must be familiar with the various tools used in building maintenance and repair work and their proper employment and care;
Working Conditions :
- Work is primarily performed in a residential treatment facility;
- Transportation of clients in company vehicle; and
- Some outdoor activities may be required.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This job requires the Twin Peaks Janitor, Busser to clean and maintain the Twin Peaks restaurant. Each team member is defined by pride, extreme standards, and discipline when it comes to keeping his / her restaurant clean and sanitized.
THE UNIFORM
- Clean TP black hat facing forward at all times. Brim never bent.
- Hair must be kept clean. All hair must be kept underneath the TP hat.
- Clean shaven. Beards & mustaches are allowed, but must be maintained.
- Fingernails must be kept trimmed.
- Jewelry is not allowed to be worn in ears, face, around the neck or wrists.
- Head phones or ear buds are not to be worn.
- Clean non-faded / wrinkled TP kitchen shirt tucked in.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of a Twin Peaks Janitor / Busser include, but are not limited to :
- Adhering to uniform standards
