As a senior editor, you’ll work with McKinsey authors around the world to develop and publish distinctive content across digital and some print platforms, primarily McKinsey.

com, the McKinsey Quarterly, and various newsletters and other editorially led digital products. With each project, you will strive to create an engaging, inspiring experience for authors by helping them develop a powerful editorial product that will make an impact on our many audiences.

You’ll work closely with McKinsey authors, typically senior consultants and industry / functional experts, to produce articles, white papers, blog posts, videos, podcasts, and other editorial products covering business topics, with a focus on the healthcare industry.

Content areas include, but are not limited to, specific healthcare subsectors (e.g., healthcare systems, health insurance, public health) and functions (e.

g., strategy, marketing, operations). You’ll act as both thought partner and line editor, working with authors to create publishing strategies, develop strong storylines, and produce compelling drafts.

You will often shape raw content (e.g., a PowerPoint presentation, an outline, speaker notes) into a range of editorial products, coordinating with colleagues to ensure that your projects are completed, approved, produced, and published to aggressive deadlines.

Over time, you’ll be expected to develop an active professional network within the firm, in particular, to build relationships with practice managers and knowledge experts, and become familiar with the publishing priorities of the Healthcare practice.

What you'll do at Elekta :

The Healthcare Sales Director, Neurosciences Sales person will be responsible for being the lead sales person for Gamma Knife products and accessories within the territory of the Western US, Mexico, and South America.

In addition, the Healthcare Sales Director, Neurosciences will provide full support to the Zone sales teams for all Gamma Knife related business.

The Neuro HSD will be directly responsible for selling all Gamma Knife products within Radiation Oncology & Neurosurgery and managing the total selling process including collaboration with the local account team.

The Neuro HSD will also utilize support and assistance from other Elekta functions to support customer interactions with product delivery, installation, customer service support, and applications.

This includes performing sales presentations, generating quotes, proposals and proformas, as well as attending local, regional and national trade shows as necessary.

The Neuro HSD is expected to be knowledgeable of the Elekta Neuroscience solutions portfolio so as to be able to nurture the existing installed base, while evaluating and determining their current usage of Elekta solutions in an effort to identify upgrade and expansion opportunities.

Finally, the Neuro HSD will follow the Elekta Sales Methodology and be compliant in the use of the CLM, including maintain CLM for use in monthly forecast calls with the Zones.

Responsibilities :

Be the lead sales person for all Radiation Oncology & Neurosurgery focused Neuroscience products and fully manage the selling process in conjunction with the HADs and corresponding NADs

Develop a targeted customer / opportunity list, manage sales interactions, participate in forecasts & book and bill activities while actively promoting, presenting and demonstrating company solutions to customers and prospects.

Work with the Neuro business line marketing manager to help drive targeted customer sales campaigns.

Ensures that ALL customers, potential customers and leads within the assigned territory are routinely followed / touched in a meaningful way as to develop after sales, and new socket opportunities

Documents ALL activity in the CLM in a timely and accurate manner to support pipeline development and forecast reporting.

Achieves unit / volume sales and obtain revenue goals in the appropriate product mix in the most profitable way as established through order and revenue goals by finance and senior management.

Efficiently utilizes travel and entertainment expenses to ensure the attainment of maximum coverage with minimum expense.

Adheres and promotes the Elekta Sales Methodology, Elekta Business Governance principles, Elekta Values and the Elekta Sales Policy for the region.

Actively participates in providing prompt input for monthly, quarterly and annual long term planning meetings as directed by the Neuro VP

Coordinates and facilitates communication as necessary between the customer and prospects around order management, contracting, accounting and marketing questions.

Meets routinely with the installed customer base to increase their level of utilization and acquisition of additional solutions across the Elekta portfolio.

Ensures each customer is aware of upcoming upgrades across all products and how these upgrades will benefit their organization through the use of an account management plan that is regularly updated.

Works with the HAD's to develop a dynamic business plan to gauge the success of the territory (i.e. pipeline development, orders in contract, won orders, accurate and timely documentation of sales behavior and activity in the CLM).

Promotes, sells and secures orders from existing and potential customers where the mix between existing orders and new sockets is in line with business and budget objectives as set forth by RNCA senior management.

Maintains a professional working relationship with Service, Marketing, Product Management and Contract Administration to ensure the daily needs of our customers are being addressed by the proper resource.

Communicates with Service, based on established chain of command protocols, to ensure any service issues are handled appropriately.

Investigates and expedites any suggestions and complaints in accordance with company policies, procedures and quality system.

Qualifications :
