Senior Graphic Designer

The Role

Success Academy seeks a multidisciplinary Senior Designer working at the intersection of branding

design and experience design who can transform initiatives of our brand.

Please note that our team has embraced a hybrid model for our five-day work week. This role is based

in New York City and you will join our team in the office on Tuesdays-Thursdays.

Role and Responsibilities

Tell powerful stories . Use the power of visual storytelling to bring daring ideas to life.

Translate ideas into visual identity systems, infographics, illustrations, social media assets,

and other tangible mediums that align audiences and stakeholders toward desirable

outcomes for the future.

Collaborate with cross-functionally. You will work with internal stakeholders across the

organization to align on project goals, clearly communicate design choices, and incorporate

feedback.

Build the brand. In this role, you’ll help develop and implement design vision, strategy,

principles, processes, and systems within the in-house Creative Agency function. Develop

strong, strategically sound concepts from brief to production for a large-scale campaign.

Skill-sharing. Share your skills and knowledge with other members of the team. Mentor

junior creatives in design approaches and bring them along with you in the design process.

Desired Skills and Experience

3-5 years of large campaign creation and visual design experience , with complementary

expertise and / or interest in illustration, event experience design, or branding creative.

Experience with rebranding projects, partnership campaigns, and public-facing PSA’s, and / or

360 degree branding assignments is an asset.

Bachelor's or master’s degree in visual design, user experience design, service design, or

equivalent experience.

Problem solving with enthusiasm . Participate in a cross-functional design for a range of

channels and audiences : paid / organic social, email, digital / print ads, decks, digital marketing design, and web design.

Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative

Suite. You can apply strong typography, layout, and design fundamentals across a range of

tools and platforms, including editable documents and platforms such as Microsoft Office

Word, Excel, Powerpoint), and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Strong client services, people management, and communication skills . Experience

presenting and articulating design intent to teams and clients. Teach and mentor others in

team’s skillset.

Compensation Range

  • Design website graphics based on real life customer use cases that can sit on slides or on the web,with experience writing clear developer notes to bring the use cases to life if required.
  • Work from strategic briefs to design content across various social media and advertising platforms to promote demand generation, events, HR-related initiatives, new marketing content, and more.
