Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Move product and raw materials for delivery or production
  • Load product onto motor freight
  • Move completed product to storage areas or shipping
  • Maintain equipment and work area clean
  • Coordinate work orders
  • Pick product or raw material from warehouse shelves and floor locations
  • Participate in all safety programs
  • Read and verify locations and SKU numbers
  • Utilize MHE and / or PITs to complete receiving pick up functions

Pre-Employment Requirements :

  • Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Maintain a valid drivers license and endorsements as required per position.
  • Pass pre-employment DOT physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position
  • Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
  • Able to perform maneuvers with forklifts and pallet jacks in narrow spaces
  • Minimum 1 year experience with sit-down, propane and electric forklifts
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines

The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this role.

This position will be physically demanding at times. This is a non-exhaustive overview of the physical requirements of this job.

  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds of weight, up to an end height of 48 inches for a distance of up to 10 feet.
  • Regularly kneel, bend, squat for extended periods of time.
  • Regularly sit and stand for an extended period of time.
  • Able to walk on uneven surfaces up to 1 mile.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet.)
  • Available to work a 40 hour work week subject to overtime, on call and alternate shifts that may include weeknights, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to visually distinguish colors - red, blue, green, yellow; hear and distinguish auditory signals.
  • Ability to tolerate non- temperature control environment
  • Ability to work in noisy environment
