Position Summary :

A Repair Planner is responsible for owning the full estimatics and repair process post-vehicle teardown and ensuring quality repairs are provided in a timely manner.

This position requires teammates to have a proven track record of high performance, possess an advanced level of technical knowledge regarding collision repair estimatics, have the ability to communicate detailed repair processes to Body Technicians, and be familiar with major insurance carrier procedures and requirements .

Responsibilities :

  • Review initial estimates and write / lock final estimates : write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
  • Collaborate with Parts Managers to source, order and track parts : Communicate with Parts Managers to ensure correct parts are ordered in a timely manner
  • Conduct quality checks : Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure quality standards by performing in-process QC;

Able to pull and review all data procedures for / with Body Technicians and conduct post scans

  • Ensure DRP compliance : Understand DRP guidelines regarding all aspects of the repair and conduct carrier specific audits.
  • Pre-close the final repair order : Handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carrier specific requirements are completed
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements

Basic / Required :

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience writing collision estimates in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of collision repair process including knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements for a variety of carriers
  • Licensing required by state
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software
  • Proficient with Computers and other technology
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred :

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Possesses DRP certifications
  • I-Car certification or able to obtain certification once hired
  • Experience working in CCC ONE Total Repair Platform

Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

  • Work with commercial teams to develop and manage depletion forecasts for the prescribed future horizon
  • Maintain forecasts and all demand planning data, and provide end user training to commercial teams where applicable
  • Lead monthly Demand Planning reviews, using all appropriate tools and data with Commercial and Supply Planning, to ensure the forecast is realistic and deliverable
  • Coordinate the execution of the forecast plan with Commercial and Customer Services teams, effectively managing any exceptions due to limited supply
  • Communicate ongoing forecast changes to stakeholders in the Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance organizations, and, where appropriate, Suppliers’ teams
  • Identify and report significant promotional activity; ensuring events and exceptions are reviewed with Commercial, Supply Planning and Customer Services in a timely fashion
  • Review and publish forecast accuracy reporting, and identify areas for improvement
  • Facilitate training and improvement plans for business users
  • Manage the system generated exception reports, to ensure the most up-to-date demand is visible to all stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, or Finance or related field desirable
  • Formal training in statistical models and their application is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing, logistics, or similar position
  • Analytical experience required with knowledge or experience in modeling and / or simulation preferred
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
