Demand Planner
We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team in Chicago!
As the Demand Planner, reporting to the Manager of Demand Planning, you will work with partners to develop the consensus forecast and translate it into a detailed 24-month operational forecast.
You will focus on understanding volume drivers to improve forecast accuracy and highlight risk to support action plans to ensure plan delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for analytics and problem solving with the ability to convert analytic results into value-added actions.
What you'll do :
Lead monthly S&OP forecast consensus process by working with partners in sales, brand, supply chain, and finance to obtain consistent forecast inputs
Work with production planning and deployment to translate the consensus forecasts into an operational forecast for the entire network
Ensure successful customer promotion execution through planning and applying customer event inputs

Report on forecast accuracy and lead the refinement and improvement of forecasting process, tools, and systems to improve results
Support annual planning process for designated brands

What this job involves :
As Occupancy Planner, you will be responsible for tracking, analysing, and updating space data and using this information to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our client's portfolio in a designated region.
Fostering relationships
You’ll foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations. Simultaneously, ensuring coordination and collaboration among various business units, project and facility management teams, will be crucial as you aim to solve client requests.
Developing planning strategies that adhere to client space standards and supporting their implementation will demand your constant attention, and so will regular facility audits.
Day-to-day deliverables would include monthly reporting, new hire space requests, periodic data audits, tracking and managing utilization data and trends, as well as programming future space needs, updating space layouts, developing space planning and block diagrams.
Managing spaces
Planning and managing portfolios, as well as maximizing space, will be your major focus areas while you assist clients in their migration plans, group, and individual moves.
This will involve using various forms qualitive and quantitative data to understand supply and demand, while supporting the hybrid work model.
Reporting
Major requirements for you will be to get familiar with space utilization methods and the presentation of utilization data.
You’ll work closely with clients to reconcile discrepancies from top-down projections, as well as track and report actual seat demand at the group level.

Retail Planner
The Retail Demand Planner is responsible for developing effective retail sales and inventory demand forecasts by
market, to be used by the cultivation and retail sales teams to deliver budgeted / forecasted product supply, sales, and
margin $. The retail demand planner will take a proactive approach to demand plans for their markets, planning by
category, forms, and strain, and providing cultivation with a 3+ month outlook on retail product needs. This resource
will also analyze performance and provide insights that will help shape assortment, pricing, and retail promotional
strategies. The retail demand planner will have strong cross functional partnerships with the retail team, cultivation,
wholesale planning, and finance teams, and provide a bottoms up view of the business on a monthly, quarterly, and
annual basis to inform corporate financial planning. Success in this role is maximizing profitable retail sales, increasing
market share, and providing key inputs to optimize production planning and COGS.
Essential Functions
- Creates, publishes, and maintains retail sales, inventory, and demand forecasting tools
- Develops effective retail forecast models by market based on sales goals, buyer input, industry trends, and
demand patterns
Collaborates with the retail sales team to develop effective pricing & promotional strategies, considering

The Planner shares in driving strategy, demand forecasting and inventory management for a multi-channel category in the outdoor apparel and equipment space.
This role is both data driven and collaborative as you are the end-to-end planning owner of a category. You will develop a pre-season forecast, attend and engage in both pre-line and sell-in meetings, aggregate a demand plan culminating in a global SKU level supply plan that balances service, optimizes inventory, and manufacturing capacity.
You will be the planning point of contact for several key accounts and incorporating their feedback into our planning deliverables.

Responsibilities :
End-to-end owner of all aspects of planning for a category, managing a portfolio of over 3000 skus across multiple seasons for multiple regions and channels.
Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to gather and understand information including forecast drivers, product attributes, and timelines to fully deliver product on-time.
Closely communicate changes and impacts to key stakeholders while maintaining a culture of transparency and operational rigor.
Monthly touchpoints with sales partners aligning on key metrics such as forecasts and targets. With Retail stores, you will manage order form creation, Square item validation, and purchase order entry.
Continuously improve forecasting technique, method, and approach. Execute demand and supply planning strategies and initiatives focused on process improvement and standardization.
Forecast receipt need at the sku level and identify receipt month need based on historical trend and forward-looking changes.
Manage the size curve and flow execution. Assist in rolling out a new replenishment model. Execute redirect and transfer strategy at a global level to ensure the proper allocation of inventory.
Analyze data and synthesize information to take necessary actions that support company goals and improved fulfillment. Define, measure, and diagnose key performance indicators.
Participates and provides insight in S&OP meetings highlighting risk / opportunity as it pertains to achieving our monthly forecast.
Speak to demand / supply imbalances, supply gaps, and changes that have been made to align to budgets and capacity plans.

Key Qualifications :
