CACI's team located in Orlando, Florida is looking to hire a Buyer / Planner who will be responsible for materials planning, inventory strategy, and all materials project initiatives.

This position is also a key enabler of continuous improvement. Key performance indicators for this position are on-time shipping to requested PO date, PO maintenance and order fill rate material obsolescence related to ECO’s.

What You’ll Get to Do :

  • Responsible for material procurement functions for new and existing products. This includes the responsibility for monitoring / creating purchase requisitions on a daily basis and converting those requisitions to purchase orders.
  • Participate in defining product hierarchical configurations, contract manufacturer selection, qualification, and quoting.
  • Expedite material as needed to support the production schedule of products, assemblies, and subassemblies through close coordination with Program Management and Manufacturing
  • Work directly with Materials and Manufacturing personnel to communicate procurement delivery schedules along with real and potential shortages
  • Point of contact with the contract and internal manufacturers, managing aspects including transfer of manufacturing information, material procurement and end of life, resolution of quality issues, return material authorizations, and material disposition.
  • Review all Purchase orders, requisitions and quotes for applicability, correctness, compliance
  • Complete regular PO maintenance (e.g. quantity, ship date) in order to update MRP reports.
  • Reconciliation of Pcard purchases each month
  • Track and report on Vendor performance metrics
  • Assist with evaluation, auditing and management of new and existing sources of supply
  • Develop and implement preventative and corrective measures in the procurement process
  • Ensure compliance with the company Purchasing Policies and Procedures, Code of Ethics, Values and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Travel to company sites and / or Customer Vendor Sites as necessary

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or similar technical field and 5 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
  • Key knowledge of contract electronic manufacturing (CEM)
  • Experience in materials planning, scheduling, production control purchasing, sourcing or procurement in a production environment
  • Product lifecycle experience in manufacturing and PLM database knowledge desirable
  • Understanding of engineering and manufacturing bills of material and drawings, BOM structures, manufacturing test and quality control processes.
  • Ability to manage and exceed at delivering on multiple high priority tasks
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MRP purchasing, Outlook and Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables) including spreadsheet creation, calculation and reporting
  • Familiarity with AS or similar quality management systems
  • Strong oral verbal and written communications skills

What will you be doing :

  • Handle multiple customers at one time while ensuring our product is up to standard for each event.
  • Set-up and tear down of rental space to include moving lockers, covering and uncovering lockers (tarps), setting up 10x10-10x20 tents, tables and chairs.
  • Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions. Communicate equipment problems to the product manager as needed.
  • Perform maintenance such as changing batteries,adjusting locker doors and adjusting locks.
  • Helping customers navigate to the locker area creating traffic flow for ease of entering and exiting the space
  • Provide positive, proactive support to customers who are scanning the QR codes and downloading the Binbox app and completing rental transactions.
  • Work independently or with a team depending on the size of the event.
  • Ensure nightly reports and logs are up to date before closing out the event.
  • Must be able to work afternoons, evenings and weekends and 80% of the venue event schedule

Who you are :

  • Ability to test, troubleshoot and use tools to repair product
