Your Responsibilities as an Electrician

Completing Maintenance & Repairs You’ll be completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects.

The project length can range from two hours to many days.

• Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.

Job Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

• Live within the area
• Have 8+ years’ experience as an electrician
• Own your own tools

Benefits & Pay

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations & Maintenance installs, maintains and repairs equipment and building systems in accordance with manufacturers specifications, hospital policy and all applicable codes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, or equivalent required, Trade School
• Licensed by the City of Chicago as a Supervisory Electrician
• 1 to 2 years supervisory experience of other workers as required to complete various assignments

• High school graduate or GED PLUS trade school or apprenticeship training.

• Ability to operate maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems from low voltage to 4160 Volt systems emergency generators and transfer switches the electrical side of all building equipment and controls.

• IMSA Fire Alarm Level 1 Certification or equivalent within 1 year
