Job Description

As a Driver you will have the opportunity to drive Hertz cars while getting paid! Your general responsibilities include but are not limited to : Transports vehicles safely within the airport to various service areas.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets. Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy.

Qualifications :

Valid driver's license. Must be at least 20 years of age. Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights weekends and holidays.

We are interviewing for a CDL driver with shipping experience. This person must have a class A CDL for local daily driving only.

Other job duties include shipping duties; previous shipping experience is required. This is a 1st shift position, working from 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm, M-F.

Starting pay rate is $19.02 an hour.

• Must pass drug screen and background check (no felonies) prior to start.
• No tickets or wrecks in 5 years.
• Reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to work 40 hours weekly.

Daily Tasks :

• Pick up customer returns and validate that product matches request for credit
• Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor
• Unload or assist in unloading material as required
• Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits
• Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature
• Collect payment as necessary on COD tickets
• Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day
• Verify all material has been unloaded and placed at the delivery site, meeting and / or exceeding customer needs
• Verify the customer's signature on the delivery ticket. Print name next to signature if necessary
• Review delivered orders with the supervisor for completion, accuracy, and format
• Return all delivery ticket copies to warehouse, and verify that none are missing

Requirements :

• MUST have 1 year of driving experience
• Additional Details : driver must be motivated, good work ethic, safety-oriented and have good communication skills.

IMMEDIATE NEED - Seasonal Driver Helper

Shifts : Monday - Sunday, 6 : 30am-6 : 30pm and holidays

Job Description :

The Driver Helper is responsible for assisting drivers in all tasks related to the delivery of ice and ice products to the customer.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Delivers the ice to customers with the drivers.

Accountable for applying safe work practices in all deliveries and operational practices.

Reviews paperwork daily for neatness and accuracy.

Responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of the delivery vehicle (both inside and out) daily.

Candidate Qualifications :

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.

Basic math skills are required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work well independently or in a team environment.

Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
