Driver
Position Title : Driver
General Description : The Driver is responsible for daily transportation services and utilizes various vehicles including mini-buses and mini-vans with wheelchair lifts.
No special license is required. Driver maintains safety and inspection reports of all vehicles and transports the individuals who receive services from Prologue to and from program sites.
Position r eports to Facilities / Fleet Administrator .
Required Education, Knowledge and Skill Abilities to Perform Essential Job Functions :
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A good driving record is essential. Two years experience working with special populations is desired.
The ability to be a team player is needed. Ability to respect individuals recovering from mental illness in conjunction with the understanding to respect the abilities and limitations of the people we serve is required.
Schedule : 30 hours per week, M-F, reports in by 8am. Upon hire this person must successfully complete a DOT physical to drive company federally funded vehicles.
Summary of Essential Functions, Responsibilities and Duties
- Transport individuals to and from program sites
- Transport individuals to and from various appointments including doctors, therapists, and blood work, etc.
- Demonstrate courtesy and excellent customer service skills
- Maintain daily oversight of transportation services
- Maintain vehicles and perform inspections
- Replenish supplies for Milford Mill Road location
- Perform Road Test for new hires
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Submit incident reports as needed
- Deliver UPS / FedEx / deliveries and supplies to departments and satellite locations as requested.
- Utilize technology for training and reporting time and attendance
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
FLSA : Non-Exempt, benefits eligible.

- Preference for candidates with prior delivery driver or related job experience
- Valid U.S. driver’s license in your state and a clean driving record
