Primary Purpose :
Operates and maintains company vehicles including forklifts / pallet jacks to make pickups and deliveries and support production activities.
Scope of work includes and is not limited to the safe transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes and regulations and company policies.
Other duties as material handler are defined in this job description.
Education / Experience / Training :
Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
DOT regulations
Hazardous Material handling and transporting
Specialized Knowledge / Skills :
Completion of all OTC and Univar scheduled training courses as these come due.
Acquire and maintain all required driver and other licenses, including Class A commercial drivers license (CDL) with all required endorsements to include tanker and hazmat endorsements.
Ability to use and maintain respiratory protections equipment.
Knowledge of cGMP requirements as it pertains to FDARP / GFSI standards as applicable to the facility.
Ability to operate an industrial powered forklift and pallet jack according to company procedures and governmental regulations.

Job Description

What is a Store Driver?
Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role has the responsibility to deliver parts to our commercial customers and assist with task and inventory processes in the store.
This position can be part time or full time and must be fleet safety certified.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
- Pick and stage parts for customer orders
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly / monthly sales flyer
- Daily collection of credit accounts
Secondary Responsibilities
- Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
- General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
Success Factors
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system

Prior Experience that Sets a Driver up for Success
Automotive parts experience is preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid driver's license and be fleet safety certified

Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES :
This position will be responsible for shuttling ImageFIRST products between locations.
Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Scan packages at shipping sites and ensure proper shipping
- Load and unload sheet carts during delivery and pick up
- Comply with company safety policies and guidelines relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles and overall safe work practices
- Work closely with Plant Manager and Production Supervisors to ensure product needs are met
- Unload clean and reload soiled linens onto the truck in Oklahoma City (approximately 40 carts)
- Decontaminate truck
Schedule :
- Monday Friday, TBD.
- The truck will get loaded with clean product as it becomes available
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must have at least two years of truck driving experience
- Must possess Driver’s License (Class A- CDL)
- Clean Driving Record
- Able to push, pull 40 sheet carts.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Candidate must possess a high energy attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Total Safety is looking for a DOT Driver to add to their safety conscious team! The CDL Driver drives a commercial truck and a variety of trailers to pick up, haul and unload equipment and supplies to and from job sites and customer locations.

- Assists others in facility including stocking shelves with clean, tested and ready to use equipment and pulling, staging and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery.
Maintains work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Assists others as needed. May need to perform emergency roadside repairs.
