ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :
Data Analyst Responsibilities :
Ongoing Assessment and Data Analysis of Office of EVI Initiatives
- Design and develop databases, including cleaning and management of data
- Develops IRBs and data gathering protocols and data dictionaries
- Plans and implements data analyses including data cleaning, management, coding and regression modeling
- Meticulously organizes and stores data and research protocols and ensures that all study details are documented and protected in accordance with established procedures and requirements
- Writes custom coding using statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS or STATA)
- Prepares data visualizations and reports for presentations and documents
- Develop and maintain a faculty Demographics Dashboard, which will include advancement and wellness indicators

About the Opportunity
Summary
The Data Analyst will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. The Data Analyst will conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Drawing from both internal and external data sources, prepare data analyses that inform and respond to information needs.
Coordinate, compile, and retrieve data
Extract and present data from university data systems to support reporting
Identify and recommend technical solutions that help enhance work done in the department.
Suggest tools, procedures, and strategies that will improve the technical capacity and sophistication of the unit
Develop a system to receive and track adhoc analysis / reporting inquiries from college faculty and staff and utilize the information from the adhoc requests to develop new standardized reports
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to discern key information from large data sets and make actionable recommendations.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience using various databases such as but not limited to Cognos, Banner, Tableau Prep and Tableau to develop custom dashboards.
Ability and desire to learn new reporting systems. Excellent data visualization and report preparation skills. Must be detail oriented, organized, and willing to work with others to maintain and improve upon the quality of reporting.
Knowledge and skills are normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree with a focus on data analytics is preferred.
One to three years of experience in a higher education setting preferred. SQL and Python experience is a plus.

Job Summary :
The Data Quality Analyst will be a member of the Information Technology team that supports the
design, implementation, adoption, optimization, and ongoing operational use of the health
information technologies that advance our mission. The Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for
monitoring the quality of data from which C3 makes informed decisions. They will examine complex
data and data trends to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data being collected, then use this
information, in collaboration with key stakeholders, to propose remediation and improvement. The
Data Quality Analyst collaborates with the Director, Analytics, and the analytics team and may support
end-user analytics requests from time to time as required by the organization's needs.
Responsibilities :
- Develops expertise as a technical super user of the population health management platform
- Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing data assets by creating, maintaining, and
enforcing standards / procedures for data management
Ensures reliable capture, triage, and response to data issues that arise within C3's applications
and systems
Oversees monitoring data quality and data testing and identifies adverse events that are
occurring that impact data quality and therefore associated technical processes and business
processes
Communicate with business owners when data issues occur that are likely to impact business
operations
Provides technical guidance to support process improvements through changes in practice,
standardization, or IT automation
