EquipmentShare is searching for a Data Analyst for our corporate Operational Analytics team, which is part of the Business Analytics department.
This new team member may be based anywhere in the United States and offers a remote / hybrid work option. Our corporate headquarters are in Columbia, MO with satellite corporate offices in Denver, CO and Kansas City, MO.
As a Data Analyst, you will use your data expertise to help departments throughout the company with analytics needs. These projects are wide ranging and could include anything from supply chain, procurement, pricing, and warranty to telematics.
This new team member will solve problems and provide insights that directly impact the company.
Primary Responsibilities / Qualities for a Data Analyst
- Have grit. Be inquisitive and find personal fulfillment in solving problems.
- Provide Tier 1 support for all team reports and processes.
- Partner with departments (one or multiple) to understand their processes, plan consistent desired actions, and provide data to drive those desired actions.
- Identify and validate accuracy of product’s Key Performance Indicators and communicate valuable discoveries to stakeholders.
- Create reports and dashboards to share results of your findings with branches, departments, or executive leadership.
- Understand user behaviors and the feasibility of projects. This will require a deep understanding of departments, processes, and applications.
- Take manual processes and automate them.
- Be a team player. Be willing to pivot on tasks to deliver the most important company needs.

Skills & Qualifications for a Data Analyst
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science or other technical degree. Coding Certifications will also be considered.
- Experience using SQL to solve problems
- BI Dashboard experience (Looker preferred, but not required)
- Comfort working in a highly agile and fast paced environment
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Effective communication skills : Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science or other technical Degree.
- Internship experience in a Data Analytic role
- Experience performing ETL with Python

Prestigious Financial Company is currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst with IBM Information Server Suite 11.x experience.
Candidate will act as a liaison and translation layer between business and technical teams and operates at system- and detailed technical level for analysis purposes.
Work on new project requirements from initial requirements through full development life cycle and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead Data Domain and Data Steward Workgroup meetings
- Work closely with Data Domain Owners and SMEs to identify CDE s (Critical Data Elements) and define data elements for the Business Glossary
- Collaborate with Data Domain Owners to identify and define appropriate business rules
- Collaborate with the Metadata specialist to identify data sources
- Collaborate with data modelers to review definitions of business terms vs. technical terms
- Utilize data profiling and data quality tools to expose and determine causes of data quality issues when defining business rules
- Participate in metadata management utilizing IBM Metadata Asset Manager and the IBM Information Governance Catalog to build out the business glossary
- Implement data governance controls, procedures, and standards
