Summary
First Horizon Bank is seeking a Data Analyst to manage, process, analyze and report on performance data that strengthens the decision-making for First Horizon in acquiring and nurturing customer relationships.
This position will drive initiatives that support the growth of the First Horizon’s marketing organization by delivering campaign performance analytics, customer segmentation, data infrastructure, and insightful reporting across all channels.
The role reports directly to the Director, Marketing Analytics, and is responsible for helping to improve marketing strategy and decision making through analytics.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Support all performance analytics of marketing campaigns.
- Deliver product and customer portfolio performance analytics to marketing partners.
- Implement and manage a process to run our customer segmentation scoring model using the available 1st and 3rd party data.
- Develop measurement plans, data gathering, organization and reporting for marketing campaigns across all channels (Direct Mail, Email, Digital, Social, Search and Affiliates)
- Develop measurement methodologies for campaign analytics, full-funnel multi-touch attribution, digital analytics, A / B test reporting, event analytics, brand analytics, targeting profiles, contact and leads.
- Identify gaps and improve upon the existing marketing campaign reporting, digital reporting dashboards and data connections.
Recommend analytics reporting enhancements and drive implementation of those enhancements.
Design, build, implement, and support marketing analytics deliverables by assimilating data from multiple sources and present the information in a straightforward way to marketing stakeholders.
Qualifications Include
- 4+ years of experience working in data and analytics, preferably in a marketing organization.
- Extensive experience in the use of data analysis, data operations, measurement, reporting and data warehousing to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Working knowledge of data integrity / privacy practices and applicable risk and compliance management frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing projects and delivering results.
- Expertise in organizing and analyzing large sets of data.
- Experience with Data Querying Tools (SQL, SOQL, Alteryx). Able to write queries, work across multiple databases and aggregate.
- Experience with data organization, dashboard automation, reporting and presentations tools (Tableau, Datorama). Able to build Tableau / Datorama dashboards and link to databases / Excel.
- Working knowledge of Data Science Tools (Python, R)

PRIMARY PURPOSE To collect, analyze and report data; to be responsible for the data integrity; and to generate reports verifying and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compiles data; prepares and distributes reports; and analyzes results.
- Ensures data integrity; develops and produces reports utilized in measuring data accuracy.

- This position will be responsible for selecting and applying appropriate analytical methods to answer questions and test hypotheses as specified by researchers, administrators and clinicians.
- This position will require proficiency in database design, data ontology practice and statistical analyses.

Data Management

Data Analyst
Data Analyst will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of membership and program database. The Data Analyst will be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as providing technical assistance / training for users and ensuring data remains reliable and consistent.
The position monitors the effective use of data collection and reporting systems, manages staff use of outcome measurement tools and data entry, guides the analysis and translation of data, and produces weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports for senior management.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities) :
Data and Outcomes :
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of and performance of membership and program database.
- Ensure accurate and efficient data collection and entry by auditing staffs’ use of database, as well as training Staff on systems.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and make necessary recommendations.
- Analyze trends affecting program operation, performance and outcomes, and make necessary recommendations.
- Inform end users of changes in databases and train them to utilize systems.
- Manage annual registration, survey implementation, survey results analysis, report preparation.

- Provides timely reporting to enhance agency annual goals around average daily attendance, frequency of attendance, membership, and outcomes achievement.
- Delivers support, technical assistance, and training to staff around membership database usage and data collection.
Audits :
- Create standardized Membership Audit Checklist for use at each Club.
- Produce follow-up audit report and corrective action plan, if needed. Audits to include but not limited to the following : Programming Schedules Scan In / Out of Facility and Programs Sign In / Out Sheets
- Prepare data reports to verify if collected data is correct. Provides guidance to staff to fix discrepancies.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2-3 years of database management experience.
- Salesforce experience preferred; Salesforce Admin certification a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience working with outcome measurement tools, creating reports, and conducting data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as experience using web-based data collection systems and other databases.
