Customer Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Handle inbound phone and email inquiries from customers regarding various potential account issues.
  • Make outbound contact with customers in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Review customer escrow accounts to determine available funds for repair issues.
  • Assist customers with insurance compliance issues and fee assessments.
  • Reconcile customer lease and escrow accounts.
  • Interface with third-party partners on billing and payment issues.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Customer Service Representative Requirements and Qualifications :

  • Detail-oriented and solution-minded problem solver who excels at multitasking .
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience , preferably within consumer-facing loans / leases in the equipment / auto industry.
  • We / us type people who like being part of something bigger.
  • Good computer skills, familiar with using Microsoft products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent math , verbal, and written communication skills.

Customer Service Rep for the Tax Collections Department.

Must have customer service experience.

LOCATION : 112 W Lexington, Independence, MO

Hours are : 8am -5pm M-F with 1 hour lunch & 2- 15 min breaks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Background checks are required. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Two weeks of training (attendance is mandatory every day for training).

PERCENTAGE OF TIME JOB FUNCTIONS :

90% 1. Customers assisted.

10% 2. Tax records maintained.

SCOPE :

The employee in this class is responsible for assisting taxpayers in person, by phone or written correspondence with all matters involving property tax.

Enough typing is needed to be able to navigate through our tax system : typing names, addresses and accounts numbers in the tax software and retrieving the account information.

Work is done on telephones and computers. This employee reports to his / her immediate supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS : (*Required prior to employment).

  • 1. Skill in oral and written communications.
  • 2. Skill in communicating with the public both in person or by telephone.
  • 3. Knowledge of business telephone etiquette.
  • 4. Skill in using the computer for retrieving customer accounts, 10-key calculator, copier, and letter opening machine.
  • 5. Knowledge of filing systems and file development techniques.

Overview
