Overview
Transport blood, blood products, campus mail, supplies, and medical equipment between processing / distribution centers, branches, blood drive sites and hospitals.
Position Schedule : This position will work a flex schedule with a start time between 3 : 00pm - 5 : 00pm and a finish time between 11 : 30pm and 1 : 30am Friday - Tuesday;
off Wednesday and Thursday.
Training Schedule : Candidate needs to have the ability to train on the following schedule, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, for approximately 1-2 weeks.
Responsibilities

- Efficiently and accurately transport unprocessed / processed blood and blood products, campus mail, supplies and medical equipment utilizing assigned vehicle (van / small truck)
- Practice safe driving skills during transport; adhere to all driving regulations
- Load and unload vehicles practicing safe techniques with lifting, pushing and pulling
- Deliver inventory to specified points within a designated route (may include branches, hospitals, field trip sites, headquarters, & mobile units);
may be required to deliver (travel with) packages utilizing public transportation in emergency situations (e.g. airline, bus, train etc.)
- Keep log of items received and delivered; document daily activities as required
- Conduct basic safety / readiness checks of assigned vehicle prior to departure per SOP; report any problems or mechanical issues
- Work as back-up on-call driver for other shifts or routes as needed
- Notify supervisor of any concerns, issues and / or delays
Qualifications

To oversee the day-to-day operation of the Agent Administration Team. Under moderate supervision of the US Agents Manager, is responsible for ensuring that all Training, Compliance and Investigations is completed efficiently with our network of 250 Agents.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, LICENSES AND ABILITIES THAT ARE ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS
Success for the position of a Pharmacy Service Liaison-Courier requires that the team member have at least a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), have a current and valid driver’s license (in the State where employed) and be insurable under AHF’s insurance policies.
A minimum of three (3) years of recent experience as a Pharmacy Service Liaison-Courier or equivalent, have data input skills and experience as a courier in healthcare is highly desirable.
Must have language skills that include the ability to read and interpret prescription documents, policies, procedures and guidelines, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, write routine reports and correspondence, including entries in various computer programs utilized by AHF and AHF Pharmacy, must have the ability to speak effectively with patients, clients and staff members in English (Bi-lingual in English and Spanish highly desirable and Creole in some specific geographies).
Must have at least intermediate skills to calculate figures and amounts such as making change, accepting credit cards for payment and collecting signatures that are proof of delivery documents.
Reasoning Skills contribute to patient satisfaction and wellbeing by solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, as well as the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled format.
