Responsibilities
- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications

- Follow through on the work from mobilization through completion ensuring satisfactory work completed
- Communicate and coordinate all facets of work with the subcontractors and concerned parties
- Perform resident relocation walk through with tenants
- Document inspections and report any issues
- Determine the quality of materials being used throughout the testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management a+
- 6+ years of experience in building construction trades including residential construction (finishes and applications)
- Ability to work weekends (including Sundays) when needed
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures
- Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications and generate changes to the scope of work as required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborate with multiple team members and have the ability to multi-task
- Ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site

Laborer Supervisor
SUMMARY
Works under the direction of the Agriculture Program Manager to ensure agricultural laborers support Tribal Farm operations.
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of agricultural laborers to carry out the day-to-day activities of the operation.
Supervise planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops, and the care given to the animals to support proper farm operations.
Ensure that laborers are following proper environmental and safety protocols.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
- Assign daily tasks for laborers such as feeding and treatment of animals, and cleaning and maintenance of animal quarters, and garden maintenance, and ensure tasks are completed.
- Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, including vehicles, tractors, tools, and the barn, is done timely and completed.
- Record the numbers and types of various products, inventory and sold.
- Monitor workers to ensure that safety regulations are followed, warning or disciplining those who violate safety regulations.
- Observe animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior, notifying veterinarians or managers as warranted.
- Treat animal illnesses or injuries, following experience or instructions of veterinarians.
- Train workers in techniques such as planting, harvesting, weeding, or insect identification and in the use of safety measures.
- Confer with manager to evaluate weather or soil conditions, to develop plans or procedures, or to discuss issues such as changes in fertilizers, herbicides, or cultivating techniques.
- Inspect crops, fields, or plant stock to determine conditions and need for cultivating, spraying, weeding, or harvesting.
- Plan and develop work schedules according to personnel and equipment availability and seasonal changes.
- Drive or operate farm machinery, such as trucks, tractors, or self-propelled harvesters, to transport workers or supplies or to cultivate or harvest fields.
- Transport or arrange for transport of animals, equipment, food, animal feed, and other supplies to and from the farm.
- Inspect buildings, fences, fields or ranges, supplies, and equipment to determine work to be performed and advise the program manager of any improvements needed.
- Monitor or oversee construction projects, such as horticultural buildings or irrigation systems.
- Issue equipment, such as farm implements, machinery, ladders, or containers to workers, and collect equipment when work is complete.
- Monitor organizational compliance with regulations.
- Complete and maintain personnel records of agriculture laborers.
- Hire, supervise and evaluate performance of agriculture laborers (permanent and seasonal)
- Assist the Program Manager with adaptation of farming policies, standards or procedures to improve operations
- Direct the laborers in the completion of farm work and conformance to tribal policies and laws
- Facilitate and / or provide education and information to community members, through workshops, events and make public presentations that expand on goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory of program equipment and supplies, notifying the Program Manager of equipment and supplies needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : The Laborer Supervisor shall carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable Tribal rules.
Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring, and training laborer employees; assisting with the planning, assigning, and directing of laborer work;
appraising performance of laborers; rewarding and disciplining staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems within the Agriculture Program.
The Laborer Supervisor shall supervise a minimum of 2 full-time staff members in addition to seasonal staff and interns.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

GENERAL DUTIES
