Business Analyst Intern
You will join one of our offices around the world for 10 weeks, usually in the summer, to work in teams and directly with our clients.
In this role, you will help our clients in the private, public, and social sectors solve some their most pressing problems.
You will also work with a range of experts in the firm, from data scientists to researchers to software and app designers.
You’ll work in teams of typically 3 5 consultants, to identify, and oftentimes implement, potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge.
Together, you will help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals.
Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations.
You'll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.
Some examples of the specific work may include interviewing clients, leading client teams, building financial models, and working with McKinsey subject experts to develop perspectives and insights for the client.
Depending on your area of focus or client needs, you will be asked to travel to your client site.

Position Purpose :
- Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in- between meal food delivery.
- Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when introducing the Catering to You program, taking menu selections, delivering trays, inquiring during catering rounds and retrieving trays.
Essential Functions :
- Takes patients menu selections prior to each meal.
- Complies with food and nutrition restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations. (Throughout Shift)
- Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences, when patient inquires or needs additional selections. (Throughout Shift)
- Assembles trays according to patients menu on tray tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
- Interacts with nursing to ensure patients’ diet prescriptions are accurate, and patients’ food needs are met.
- Completes catering rounds after passing trays to inquire if patient needs anything else.
- Retrieves trays from patients’ rooms shortly after completing round.
- Maintains accurate and current information for each patient on assigned unit(s).
- Assists dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets or have a calorie count ordered.
- Communicates any patient related problems / concerns to appropriate personnel, in a timely manner following departmental procedures.
General Job requirements :
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3 months of food service experience
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
