This is an entry-level food service position that is responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the restaurant.
Responsible for all utility and / or maintenance duties in the restaurant as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Experience in the maintenance field preferred.
- Ability to use various types of hand tools and / or hand-held power tools.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and / or busy times.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry required.
- Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance of state law.
- High School diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent combination of education / experience will be considered.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends. Must be able to work overtime as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver a high-quality food and beverage
dining experience to all guests
Maintain bar
and dining ambiance with an enthusiastic and graceful attitude
Report low level of stock and
breakages or damaged equipment immediately to management
Ensure the bar is always neatly
organized, fully stocked and all perishables behind the bar are fresh and
tasted to required par levels
Prepare for bar service and complete
necessary task to set up bar for success
Ensures par levels are maintained
during service
- Actively participate during line up
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service
- Maintain proper loss prevention standards including cash handling procedures, tip handling, cash deposits; Count the cash register at the start and close of each shift
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Complete all assigned side work relevant to guest interactive service, in compliance with 80 / 20 / 30 rules
- Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time and ready to work in proper uniform
- Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL
Must
have 1+ year Barback experience in a high volume setting and / or relevant,
equivalent experience preferred
Familiarity to beer, wine, sake and
spirits
Prior
related experience requiring cash handling, excellent customer service, service
recovery, and problem-solving skills
- Personable demeanor, instinctive nature, and ability to deliver world-class hospitality
- Ability to think quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and eloquently, both verbal and written
- Ability to take direction and execute
- High standards for cleanliness of workspace and service areas
