Underwrites new and renewal business, approves policy changes, maintain workload, and controls written business up to and including the time of binding according to Company guidelines and established procedures.
Provides leadership to a production / underwriting team. Provides high quality professional service to Agents and Companies.
Description of duties & responsibilities :
Review & issue new business policies and rate & issue renewals and premium bearing endorsements utilizing insurance carrier rating system and adhering to service guidelines for same.
Gather appropriate rating and underwriting information from various industry standard sources.
Review, input and underwrite new business quotes within office authority for retail agents.
Maintain systems within CRC and carrier partner
Process, rate & email quotations for endorsements & renewals as requested for retail agents.
Follow designated authority and refer items beyond authority to carrier partner
Use AIM & ImageRight for appropriate file documentation.
Respond to all retail agent requests in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.
Maintain and utilize renewal expiration lists.
Perform other specific duties as requested by Program Manager
Pursue a program of personal and professional development
Minimum education required : prefer some college education
Minimum work experience required : 2-5 years
Special skills required
2-5 years experience in the underwriting / insurance industry
Prefer at least some college level education
Licensed CSR / AGENT
Rating / underwriting background with an insurance carrier preferred
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong multi-tasking skills & flexibility skills
Team player with emphasis on building relationships with internal / external customers
Effective communication skills

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the care and comfort of customers, providing a unique customer experience based off individual preferences.
Serves as the customer’s on-site resource for hotel, transportation, meal reservations and additional requests from the customer prior to and during their visit.
Welcomes visitors, employees and customers and directs them to the proper contact. The Concierge engages in numerous face-to-face, telephonic and written exchanges throughout the course of their responsibilities.
The anticipated effect is to help nurture a strong desire in the customer to return to the Textron Aviation Service facility.
The concierge is a key liaison-building asset to management and enlightens management of concerns, trends and insight gained through customer interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
I.Ensure Customer Business Center is clean, organized, and equipment is presentable in customer accessible areas
II.Provide strong customer coordination to ensure excellent service to all customers.
III.Follows proper phone procedures and etiquette, no cold transfers.
IV.Ensure refreshment area is clean and stocked
V.Greet customers in a friendly and consistent manner
VI.Provide customers with assigned work spaces and internet access information, as requested
VII.Provide customer assistance in obtaining reservations for transportation, lodging, meals etc. and negotiate corporate discounted rates.
VIII.Offer information on local attractions, restaurants, and events in the area
IX.Oversees utilization of courtesy car, per approved standard operating procedure
X.Ensures all visitors sign in and wear corporate approved visitor badge
XI.Flight tracking duties via FlightAware FBO Toolbox; to include but not limited to inbound and departing customers.
XII.Continuously maintain Salesforce customer preferences data, survey and input
XIII.Proactively update and maintain visitor log input in customer preference data base, currently View, with input from Customer Service Representative’s for each departing customer
XIV.Create / cancel single and multi-line purchase orders, including the need to add recover fees (i.e. Paint Supplies, Travel Expenses, Pilot Fees...)
XV.Process SAO requests and scanned document files from IOS
XVI. Process internal payments with billing to management and external payments (CHASE)
Qualifications
EDUCATION :
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 1 year customer service or relative administrative experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Proficient in use of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with multiline telephone
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Professional demeanor and ability to accept instructions and directions.
- Customer relations and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.
