Our client is now hiring an experienced Account Manager.The primary responsibility is to maximize the sales of our services in NYC area to existing clients and new customers and prospects.
These services include : Document Storage , Electronic Document Management Solutions, Data Storage, Pathology Storage and Shredding .
Other key responsibilities include :
- Manage and upselling to assigned client base
- Lead generation and prospecting activities to maintain required pipeline of prospect accounts
- Qualify, research, track and develop leads into viable opportunities
- Effectively articulate the value proposition to multiple organizational levels
- Develop strong business cases, proposals and presentations for sales opportunities
- Negotiate the terms of agreements and close sales
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the industry, trends, technology, competitive offerings, and customer requirements, and provide informed feedback to the company
- Participation in professional organizations (sales, marketing, industry associations)
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of consultative sales experience selling electronic document management solutions or SaaS
- A strong hunter mentality the ability to prospect and sell into existing and new account opportunities
- Driven to succeed and excel, with a passion and enthusiasm for the business

The primary role for the Account Manager will be to identify cross-sell / upsell opportunities for additional software and training by staying in routine contact with the customer base via phone, online meeting, and email, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the customer’s tenure.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop a strong understanding of ECI Shoptech's products / JB² and communicate the value to the customer base effectively.
- Keep customers informed of new product offerings.
- Have a strong working relationship with your customers to update / increase references within Salesforce, keep customers on Maintenance and Support contracts, and help minimize any issues they may have with E2.
- Build a sales pipeline with existing customers via outbound calling, email communications, and other direct marketing methods.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales quota goals in accordance with the strategic plan.
- Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made, in Salesforce, producing regular activity reports.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly quality communication goals in accordance with the strategic plan.
- Remains low or off the Exceptions Dashboards by following-up on all outstanding activities within your territory.
- Produce quality calls with your customer by building relations and truly digging for sales opportunities.
- Produce quality demos with your customers, as well as in hot seat training.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of manufacturing software is helpful but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook email.
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Sales Experience helpful but not required
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to work with little supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
